Pac-Man turns 30. Pac-man is probably one of the greatest games ever invented. Google gave praise to the Pac-Man game by making the Google logo a Pac-Man playing level. Pac-Man has also influenced the world of learning . They now have Math-Man which is exactly like pac man but you must eat the correct ghost with the correct answer for the equation. Now it is not for sure yet but there are rumors of an upgrade of the Pac-Man game called Pac-Man Revolution. I will be the one of many people to get this game and hopeflly Pac-Man lives on for many generations.

TV 5

On June 11th the A-Team will premiere in theaters. The characters in the A-team fit the old A-team perfectly. I also like how they are incorporating the 2010 feel onto the movie. They did not go back in time or anything they just went with the flow of time which is nice. I am excited to see Quinton "Rampage" Jackson as B.A. Quinton is a UFC professional fighter and took a leave of absents from the octagon. His come back will be against "Sugar" Rashad Evans who is quick and has the former light heavyewight champion and so has Rampage. They had an interesting fued in the Ultimate Fighter Heavyweights. I think that this fight will be really interesting because Rashad is just way to quick and Rampage is also pretty strong. Both these fighters will have alot to fight for because the winner of this fight will have a shot against the Champ Shogun Rua.

I went and saw Shrek: The Final Chapter. I am glad to say that this was an exciting and very pleasing way to end this very magical and funny story. The 4th story is basically about Shrek. He believes that he has lost his inner roots of being an ogre and makes a deal with Rumplestilskin to be an ogre for a day. Now this is sad because Shrek at first has the time of his life everyone is scared of him again and no one wants to be near him because he is so scary. But Rumplestilskin is a con man and takes the day Shrek was born causing him not to exist. When Shrek realizes what has happend he goes and tries to find his friends that do not remember him because all the events that happened did not occur because he is not alive. So he must break this contract by getting true love's kiss. This movie is seriously one of the most funniest and greatest entertainment for your eyes. It was funny and the story plot shows you that you should always appreciate what you have because you would not know what to do when it is gone.

On Friday the world lost another icon....Gary Coleman. According to CNN he died of a brain hemorrage. The parents of Gary Coleman on the other hand want to know what cause this brain hemorrage. So a big investigation has begun. Now the craziest thing about this is that Gary Coleman and his parents have a realy bad relati0onship. According to CNN Gary sued his parents for 1.3 million dollars for taking his money when he was a child actor and may have possibly told his family that he had no family. Honestly this is just really weird and I think that whoever or whatever happened to Gary Coleman was set up and has supppose to kill him. I don't have any information to support that except my opinion.

The Prince of Persia movie was one of the many video game movies that did not make it big. Not many people were interested in this movie because of the way it was incorporeated into real life. The movie is based on a video game that a man finds this dagger that can turn back time momentarily and allow them to redo decisions that they have made or allow them to predict what will happen. Now this is all a good video game concept because he can run up walls and jump to great lengths and can go back in time. Now sometimes the story line in video games cannot be fully incorporated into the storyline of a movie. The movie cut out alot of key points in the video game that allowed them to get used to the characters abililities. I believe that the movie was corny it did not fit the "Prince of Persia" quota and hopefully they do not try to ruin another game for gamers around the world.

The Anchor man 2 project has been going to a close. The producers Will Ferrell and Adam Mcckay have basically passed it off for GhostPanther. This is just going to be an unknown story apparently this is not thought out and discussed. But the movies such as Anchorman that was like a story that had to go on. The people want more Ron Burgundy that was one of the funniest movies. i think that they should redirect there movie product and start producing Anchorman 2.

To all the comic book fans go and watch "Iron Man 2" in theaters and do not leave once the credits begin. Lately Marvel movies have been giving the movie viewers something to view after the credits are over. But people do not know when the credits have something or not. In the end of "Iron Man" Nick Fury (Samuel Jackson) comes out asking Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) asking him to join the Averngers mission. The second movie is said that Captain America and Thor will be standing with Iron Man accepting the Avengers mission bringing us to the Avengers movie. This movie is going to be exciting and willl have alot of talented actors but it would nto be the first time if a movie had such a build up and just failed so wait for it to come out in 2011.

i read an article today about an islamic website against Comedy Central's South Park. Apparently the islamic people are upset with the fact that South Park is showing images of the Prophet Mohammed. But last week's episode did not show the image of the Prophet Mohammed becausde it upsets the islamic faith. The episode itself was around Mohammed but there was no indication that his figure or the face or anything was showing. Clearly this guy who runs the website just hates that America has better television then he does and is trying to make a big deal about it when it honestly is not a big deal. Last Season South Park did the same thing except after they supposedly showed the image of Mohammed, the Islamic terrorists in the South Park episode retaliated with a miserable depiction of Americans. So i think that thsi islamic website so just chill out and just let it be because no image of Mohammed has been shown and i do not think the South Park producers are planning on showing the image. And remember watch the NEW EPISODE TONIGHT at 9 on comedy central.

Now this is funny because then Hef rips on her. He says that she is not even a celebrity. And this is correct she is not she is just a women who argues with her husband and then has a permanent PMS. And as dancing with ther stars goes she is not that good and remember all the make-up in the world would not cover up her nasty attitude.

Oh my god Fergilicious tries to be nutritious? Fergie says that it is impossible to look perfcect at all time but at least she tries. The Black Eyed Peas singer and cover girl tries to tell herself that french fries are poison. I honestly think that this is ok but should not be a perminant lifestyle. Fast foods are not the healthiest foods for us but she can get really sick for not eating properly or telling yourself that you are not allowed to eat like this is just not good. Hopefully Fergie can find a good balance to this and maybe see that there are other ways of staying healthy and fit.

Yesterday a bald eagle was found in a man's yard. This is pretty strange for a bald eagle to be walking on a yard but when the animal rescue league went and captured it the eagle gave in easily. The bird was just so weak and tired from walking around on the ground. The bald eagle was only 5 weeks old and did not weigh even close to its maximum weight. When the doctor examined the eagle they found a shotgun shell in the eagle and it is sad because the white head of the eagle was very noticeable and whoever shot this eagle it was definately intentional. I really hope that thois eagle heals up nicely and i want the police to find the person that shoot that bald eagle and hopefully bring the person to justice.

This week i just discovered about the latest installment to the Pirate of the Caribbean series. It is called Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides this seems pretty ok. The first movie (Curse of the Black Pearl) is just really good it introduced the characters by their pirate like nature. They also incorporate the greed of pirates which was almost like another meaning to the movie. The second movie (Dead Man's Chest) was really cool i thought there was more action and the story plot was alot more thought out. The Dead Man's Chest was the chest of Davey Jones. In the chest was his heart what this means is not uet known but is very dear to Jones. This also is the main reason why is has control of all the underwater creatures, why he is like a weird fish -like monster and why he has control of the Kraken and the Flying Dutchmen his ship. The third movie (At World's End) was a continuation to the second one with the whole Dead man's Chest and all but it has more of the pirate embassy they try to battle the government of the sea. Only problem is that corruption has taken over the government and they join forces with Davey Jones to get Jack Sparrow because he escaped Davey Jones Locker or in other names like graveyard. At the end of this movie Jack Sparrow finds a map to the fountain of Youth. Now in the chest was the heart of Davey Jones which allowed you to live forever. But of course Jack misses out and Will Turner gets it and becomes the Captain of the Flying Dutchmen. So Sparrow tries to find another way to live and it is the fountain of youth. Now as you watch the last part of the third movie you notice that Jack takes the map from Barbossa but in the new installment Barbossa and Sparrow look for the fountain together and find out that an old epic and notorious pirate is also in the hunt for the fountain....Black Beard. I can honestly say that the latest installment could be good but it will not have any of cool creatures and effects as far as i am concerned there is nothing magical to Black Beard but who knows movies today with stories of the past do have some different ways of showing the people the story.

If you have been reading my blogs i think about a month ago i had a blog about Sarah Palin and aobut her making a reality TV show. Now remember when in the last article Palin said she will not be in the series what so ever. Well the name of this series is "Sarah Palin's Alaska". WHAT!?!?! This is how bad television has gotten we need to give Palin a show. Me personally i will start a riot on this show because this is just ridiculous. This show is picking up a one million- plus per episode. Like who does this kind of thing to TV. Honestly, i do not know how much Palin i can handle she is beautiful and that is about it. I think that the show is a good step for her because it is anyway from politics. She does not really have a good grasp of politics in the government and seems like out of the bubble. I hope her success with this show is on a minimum because she is just very boring and annoying. I'm thinking of holding a petition and just banning this show because nothing so god awful should hit the surface of our beautiful blue planet.

The death of Michael Jackson was a big trajedy. Rebbie Jackson and Randy Jackson watched the Oscars as they made a tribute to the ones that we lost. Then an image of Michael Jackson appeared. It has been 9 months since Michael Jackson's death. Many wonder how they will keep the legacy of MJ alive and Rebbie respond with that is not the focus. The Family is trying to move on through this big lost and Michael Jackson's kids are also fine. The loss of Michael Jackson was very bad it was really unexpected and he was starting his London Tour, "This Is It". i really hope that people go back in time and just see and remember all the great things he has done for the music industry. He has done so much and thrown this industry to a place where they just hope it would have gone.

At the end of Iron Man, Nick Fury played by Samuel Jackson comes out and asks Tony Stark played by Robert Downey Jr., Nick Fury says that he is making an Avengers group. In the Incredible Hulk movie Nick Fury and Tony Stark appear in this movie talking about the Avengers. There have been rumored to be a Captain America movie. Now, this is true that a movie will be made for Captain America, because he is the leader of the Avengers will next to Nick Fury. Actor that will play as Captain America is not certain. G.I. Joe's Sebastian Tatum is one of the few names going for this role. I think that this is an alright pick i mean he is young and great in action movies but Captain America is a very demanding role he is the leader of the Avengers and will he look too young compared to the other Avengers? especially, Nick Fury(Samuel Jackson). The Avenger's movie is to be starting in 2012 in London. So London is going to be pretty packed with the Olympics and the shooting of "The Avengers", in upcoming years.

Yesterday Lil Wayne got sentenced to a year monday. Dwayne Carter pleaded guilty to a gun felony in October, in order to make a deal with prosecutors. His sentencing was delayed twice, first he had to get dental work, he had to get diamond studded braces removed and then because of a fire at the Manhattan Courthouse. Dwayne Carter also faces some charges on drug possesion and gun charges in Arizona. I think that this is a delay of the Lil Wayne revolution. Like Wayne is so nasty on the mic and he just does not seem to quit. He just has this kind of attitiude like a specific swagger that just shows people that he does not care about the law he is a rebel almost and he need a spark like that in the industry. Many rappers find this as the oppurtunity to catch up to Lil Wayne.

The 3rd installment to the Twilight saga is definitely a go. Today the trailer for "Eclipse" had just premiere and it seems like that this movie is going to be antoher team edward or team jacob. This trailer also brings up the question "Why won't Edward let her change?" In this movie it is not hard to find out that the attention will go all to Edward and Bell but a surprising Jacob is getting his spotlight. I think that this movie will be if not the best of the three i think that i may sell as well as "New Moon". This installment to the saga shouold financially be ok but i think that people are starting to get tired of twilight.

In entertainment news Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland hits the box office with 208 million dollars. This is all after a 10-day spand. This movie beats there previous succes Charlie in the Chocolate Factory. This is disney's come back because this is thee highest grossing film bringing in 47% in and 13% of its grossing came from IMAX in 3-D. This film is said to be very revveting and just a wonderful experience for your eyes. I havde not yet seen the movie but im sure that it will be really good and i hope that my expectations for this film are beaten.

I read this article on CNN news about online dating. It basically describes how there are different types of online dating websites. Like some are long-term relationships and the people on these websites tell there real age and real financial sutation and this is only becausde it is a long term. But, sometimes there are other websites that is for short term realtionships and this is basically like people shall say anything to make themselves seem like the good guys and they just try to be a people pleaser. I think that this article is weird and just like i do not know why people resort to putting themselves on the internet and believe that other people can find them like a partner and i alo believe that it is nmot natural and takes away from the relationsihp making and actually going in and trying to find out who thsi person is and stuff.

Sarah Palin is going to have her own televsion show. This is just the most ridiculous idea i have ever heard of. This is going to be like a Planet-Earth style show. So then this show is not even revolving around her or her familr or where she lives this is just a dumb concept and its all because she was a vice president nominee. Like she does not know anything you cannot have a decent conversation with this women she is jsut a pretty face and now everyone is trying to take advantage and that is not good because first the channels that show will premiere on So technically she is not on the show she is pitching the show like having her advertise a show is not a smart idea because honestly shes dumb! She is not politcally involved with anything her names and in polictics yes but she does not know what to do and it is very sad. I think that if the channels that want to premiere this show under Sarah Palin's advertisemet well they are going to have a rocky route and hopefully it works out for them.

TiVo is trying to make a set box that has the traditional television box with a tv box that connects directloy to the web. The TiVo corpartion said that they will have a set-up box called TiVo Premiere. This is a new device that is more slender than previous hardware from TiVo. This new TiVo will be on the market in April and is just a wide array of channels and options. I think that this is pretty cool like i have good internet connection at my house and i bet alot of people do but basically this TiVo will operate with my internet and give me legit television viewing. This beast of technology can store 150 hours of high definition programming and only at $500 this is seriously great for me. I personally do not do anything but watch tv, go to school, and do sports but this just might take over my life. TiVo was a geat thing at first but then went backwards for a while but with this brand new upgrade i think that this will put them past any point this new device should be advertise more because people are very indecisive and will want to store alot of tv programs and this is not a lot of money i think. I mean before it was 45 hours of storing and $300 was the cost like hello? look at what we are saving.

We were talking about how people play the system and how people that are drug addicts should not receive welfare. I think that this is like a deep subject i believe that if you are a drug addicgt and you only have enough money for your kids or something like why spend the money on drugs. i think that they should not be allowed to have welfare if you spend money on like drugs or drinking like people need that money and i do not think it is fair that there are people that just ignorantly and happily have no problem taking peoples money and using as if it was nothing. I am a hard worker and like i will never accept money from any program without wporking fo rit that is my nature i think if people have the same mentalilty like me maybe we would have a less lazier nation.

I was reading about a girl who was abducted in a small town in California. Her mother has been going through this withdraw for a year a little over actually and is at the point where she wants closure. Like this missing childs case could be linked to Chelsea King but that is just a possibility and also they checked out all the other possible situations. THey declared her a runaway but after some eyewitnesses and some tips they now think that she was abducted and they also thought she had a boyfriend and ran away with her but she was in no relationship. I think that this is a really sad story and i hope that this mother finds her baby girl because i could not begin to feel how it would feel to lose your child so abruptly like that sucks and i hope that this new suspect they find i hope they will find something that will bring this famiyl together.

i was watching the msnbc news on how a bobcat escaped into a parking garage in Houston. The bobcat weighed 25 lbs. and took the animal control to tranqulize it. And it shall be released into the state park. I think the way they took care of this problem was really good i mean they took care of the animal before it got out of hand. It also was weird how a bobcat got there in the first time because like they usually do not do that.

i was watching a segment on CNN and it was about a man who had a sex addiction. And i think that it is really sad about how this guy cheated on his wife over 30 times to suppress this addiction. Like this is not even an addiction and that was said by like physciatrics and doctors. Like this guy is wrong for how he tires to give a sob story to justify himself like maybe some poeple will feel pity for this guy but not me. He said that he had orgasms at least 5 or 6 times a day and tha it injects chemicals into his head like no this is just showing that he is a pig and that can not control his urges like this guy is a big punk and i think he should check himself somewhere because he is dumb and is crazy for blaming an unknown addiction or diease to make him sound smart.b

i was reading the new york times and i came across this article that really caught my eye. it was talking about the Olympics help canada show the world that it's not so laid back. the olympics were to channel the lethal energies of modern nationalism into a peaceful competition for gold medals. the olympics have shown their part in avoiding the war by using sports. Canada has really tried to win the olympics and think that their mens wil do fairly will in this whole perdicament . All this has shown a interest in Stephen Colbert's eye and has him broadcasting the olympics and showing some humerous commentary. ANd the most important question is how the canadian atheletes are going to do under the pressure that Canada has put on them with their high expection. I think that this article is pretty crazy in the way they say they are avoiding the war by using sports. When people go into war they do not just hate you because of the country problems and they do not just hate you because of the people the country is made up of. In some way they just hate you for everything. They want to beat you at everything. Like these sports sure it is a sport and their are winners and losers but some losers are going to be upset some may have their lives at stake because of gambling. This is very sad because this just contributes to the war. i just hope they realize that some people are die hard funs of their contry and some people will do crazy things on behalf of their countries.

In 2007 a mexican journalist was kidnapped and was burned and cut into pieces. This was all found out from suspected abducters and the pieces of this man that they found believe it is his but they cant get a good solid DNA test. Rincon Teracena's writings is what got him in trouble. He wrote about small-scale drug-dealing in the city of Villahermosa. The people who are suspected to kidnap the man were cellmates from Los Zetas. The suspects information allowed them to get a search warrant to check a property where they found charred remains of at least 5 people. According to the state attorney general office Rincon and others were beheaded and dismembered before being covered in diesel fuel and going up in smoke. This is the 3rd journalist to die in Mexico this year. I think that the people that killed this journalist were in a gang and because Rincon was in there business they tried to show others by using him as an example to say "Hey, we are not people to be spying on," i hope that no one gets what happened to Rincon because all he did was his job and he dies.

Today i was viewing about the earthquake in chile. This earthquake was so bad that it shifted the earth's axis and caused shorter days. This change is permenant and may not go back to the way it is. This large earthquake changed the distribution of the mass of the earth. This is why the days are shorter because it changes the way the planet rotates. This earthquake is one of the worst quakes that we have ever witnessed. I also think that the fact that this earthquake was so powerful that it shorten the days like that is scary. I think that we really might have to do alot of research on this like what is going to happen to us. I'm only a kid and i dont understand this whole thing but i know that if it has somethign to do with many scientists and that it shortens the days like we have to worry.

In Tokyo, Japan students and scientists from many techonological colleges and programs are creating robots. Dr. Rybski from the Human Robot Interaction Group, made a robot that prepared granola bars. He says that this is a very good way of approaching people because what person does not want food. The simple fact that a robot is making food for a person immediately grabs people's attention and shows how much technology is moving forward. In Japan there is a restaurant that has two robots that make ramen noodle soup. This is very amazing because the one robot is a head chef that prepares the noodles and the other is a manager that adds toppings and serve the noodles. These robots also have other programs that when it is a slow day the robots begin to fight each other for entertainment. This is a very exciting thing that the robot programmers have added. What brings offense is that the people that work here and workers for the robots. Not only does this belittle the people but is this the outcome of our world that robots will be made to bring us entertainment and do work for us. They cost $100,000 a robot this is way to much for anyone at this point in the economy we are in today and not only that this would worsen our problem when it comes to getting a job how does someone compete with a robot that is never late, never tired, and always does what is told. This is a break through in technology yes but is this going to break mankind itself?

Snowboarding champion Shaun White gaptured the Gold medal again in the mens' halfpipe event in the winter olympics. He impressed the judges with the gravity defying Double McTwist 1260. On his first run he scored a 46.8 which already made him the olympic champion but on his second run he dominated the competition with a 48.4. He was already an amazing snowboarder and athelete by winning the X games for the third time. The other two U.S. competitors would have threatened White's gold medal but were injured. I think that Shaun White is one of the greatest snowboarders and skateboarders of the world and like he seriously cannot be stoppped. He is only 23 years old and he is already an icon in the snowboarding and skateboarding industry. Now he is known in the X games and Olympics i think if anyone will be able to beat Shaun White or show some kind of challenge to him it will not be for a while and if so they should stand up and show what they got.

today we continued watching when the levees broke. What really took my interest was first when george w. bush went to new orleans and just turned on the power in a specific building because he wanted to portray that the state of new orleans is moving up but they really were not and thata is just so wrong in many ways but also it was when the media was portraying that the new orleans citizens were refugees. Like there are so many wrong things about this name for our own people. Like did the hurricane come and just blow their citizenship away as well. Im not almost embarassed to say that the people that said that about our own people can be one of i us i guess

i was reading the news this morning and a specific article was about King Tut having Malaria. Like scientists recently have checked up on the boy pharaoh conditions and he had a severe case of malaria besides his bone degenerative bone condition. Scientists also say that this is one of the oldest cases of Malaria going back to 1324 B.C. They also examined more mummies and saw that they had DNA evidence of malaria. They also found that he had a leg fracture that also con have contributed to his death. Like i think that this big mystery of his death is kind of narrowing down to the fact that he had a spinal problem, he had many diseases, he got diagnosed with malaria, and now they found that he had a fractured leg. I believe that at some point his body just gave out on him. I think that his death is really something crazy i mean like i hope that they really figure out what happen to him because at some point people like historians maybe want to know what happen to him. To end this i want to say that it really was a good idea to go back to see King Tut's diagnostic and see that they find more i think that scientists should keep going doing this as technology keeps moving forward and maybe they can find more.

i read an article about Joe the Plumber today. This article was about Joe leaving John Mccain's campaign because Mccain is supposedly "no public servant" said by Joe the Plumber. Joe believes that John used him to depict an image of the middle class American. As Joe said " John used me as a ploy." And as for Sarah Palin, Joe is no longer in with her because she is behind Mccain's re-election. This article i think just shows how the middle class American deals with problems. I personlally would have done the same thing maybe for different reasons but i would have left Mccain for Joe's reason. And some people think that Joe owes something to Mccain but seriously he does not owe the man anything because Joe put himself out there to help promote John Mccain. Joe Wurzelbacher was used by Mccain to depict the average Joe. Like Mccain owes Joe, how does Mccain just use a man and feels that Joe owes him something. i call a guy like that a pig who has nothing to do but get publicity.

yesterday in class we were watching when the levees broke and it is very sad about what some of the people had to go through. i mean the people from New Orleans took it upon themselves to help all of the people that were trying to survive such a catastrophe. i kind of took offense to when the people of the community toook quicker action then the government did like to me that says something reall big like is the government to busy or something to help some of there own people. thse people went through alot and i think if everyone knew what they did to survive and how they tried to save everyone. its sad how the government had almost no part in saving some of the people of New Orleans.

Class Discussion 4

Today in class we were talking about how our government had gone to Haiti to help Haiti so quickly from an unfortunate disaster and then when Katrina had struck New Orleans it took our government forever to help New Orleans. I think that this whole problem is pretty bad. Like New Orleans is in our own country, why would you not help a state that is in our own country. I think that the reason why the U. S. helped Haiti was because they wanted to be like knowned and like by the rest of the world. This is not right at all I would rather help a state in my own country then another country in some other place i hope that our government will change and learn to have the support of there own nation then the support of others.

i was watching the Colbert report and i was noticing the segment on Obama health care bill. I think this is seriously something crazy because Obama is talking about having members from both sides and discussing this health care situation and it is going to be televised. I honestly am going to watch this because this is such a big deal in America today that this may be the most watch program on the 25th of February. I do not know how the Republicans may see this as but i know that it can be considered almost like a political suicide. This health care problem is going to turn into one of the most memorable televised programs.

TV 6

I watched ABC News this morning and caught a segment about a missing child in Texas. He is a 9 month old boy named Gabriel. Gabriel's dad is searching every where around St. Antonia for him. Apparently, Gabriel's mom is the main suspect. At first her story was that she gave her son away to a couple of strangers at a local park. Then she changed her story to suffocating him and putting him in a diaper bag. No witnesses have been found and no one seems to know anything about these two leads. Gabriel's dad is going door to door with flyers and the police and searching the local landfill for his body. Gabriel's dad believes he is still alive. Gabriel's mom is pleading not guilty to kidnapping and homicide in a local jail. This story really upset me. How could a mother do that to her own son? The one thing this story did not reveal is why she wanted to get rid of her son. I will continue to research this story in the hopes of finding that out

I read about Sarah Palin's speech at the tea party and her acceptance of republican vice presidential candidate nomiation. The Republicans thought that she was the new face of the party. The governor of Alaska really seems like a liability more than an assest for the Republican party. Ron Paul intitally shaped the Tea Party to be an anti-big government spending message. Ron believes that the moderate republican wing of the party may just be the direction they need. I think Sarah Palin is a face in the Republican party and nothing more. I do not think she understands the government and if she was asked a thing or two i doubt she would be able to answer any of the things any one asks of her. Now answer me if a women who cannnot answer simple questions, how do they think she can be the next president? Nominating Sarah was most indefintiely a really big liability and they need to change alot of the images that people portray for Sarah Palin.

TV 5

Last night i saw Superbowl 44 between the Colts and Saints. I really enjoyed the commercials this year. The biggerst advertisement that was promoted throughout the Superbowl was definitely Bud light. They had many commercials throughout the whole Superbowl about Bud light. But there were not many rememerable commercials i think. I also believe that Doritos also had a number of commercials. I really would like to wonder where do these businesses get the money to put so many commercials on the Superbowl. I also like the E trade baby commercials i believe that they are all hilarious. They also advertised alot of movies. Like the new up and coming "The Last Airbender", "Robin Hood", and "The Wolfman". The Superbowl this year itself was a very good game. The underdogs the Saints really showed that they are not scared of the Colts and proved that they are a team to be messed with in the future.

i was watching the Colbert Report the other night and I got caught up in a conversation he had with Eliot Spitzer. This conversation was essentially about how the financial system is being built up to be the same way it was before the economic collapse. Spitzer talks about how he has nothing to lose and that he is not trying to uphold any image. Colbert asks Spitzer about what him and the people should really be worrying about and Spitzer replys everything. Spitzer says that the banks are using the money from the investor and tax payers money and they are gambling with it. Colbert says that it is a delicate time for the banks right now. But Spitzer says that he would not want the bubble to pop again. The same people who inflated the bubble still work there and the people that added to the mess are still there too. Eliot Spitzer says that the real problem is that the white house until last week did not begun with the financial problem and try to begun the financial structure. Spitzer thinks that money should be given to the businesses that are willing to invest instead of the banks that are willing to gamble it. I think that this whole bank situation is very hard to like control because the banks really can not be like controlled. Alot of changes should be done to the financial system and they should be done slowly so that there is not another economic collapse.

Class Discussion 2

Today in class we were talking abou the sitmulation center at the Army Center. In this center they have these simulations of riding a army hum-V and riding and shooting people, they also have a black hawk sim that alloows them to shoot people from the flying aircraft. The center itself has alot of technology for gaming purposes. I believe that some of the kids that do this may take this overboard. We started talking about how some kids started seeing the technology as the real world like kids need to know the differences between digital life and real life. Mothers also got arrested because they thought that the army was braingwashing there kids to want to go to war. I believe that the Army could may be trying to push the younger generation to go into the Army but also maybe they are trying to show what they do and give them the experience and dangers that our soldiers face everyday.

Journal Article 2

I recently read a review on the late Michael Jackson movie "This is it". What i read was that it was a real spectacular. The director Kenny Ortega talks about how they could not finish the movie because of obvious reasons but he did incorporate all of the time that Michael and that performers put into the movie. Not only did this show how hard they but it also showed how much of an average person Michael Jackson really was. He was missing some steps, he forgot some words, and he even gave some spotlight time t the other dancers and performers on the stage with him. The phrase that Michael Jackson consantly said throughout this whole thing was "this is why we have rehearsals". This movie is just showing that Michael Jackson may have been the "King of Pop" but he thought that he was just a normal that loved music and tried very hard to in place himself in the world of music. This movie itself was very good every song being played is rememerable all the words are clear to you. Some of the cast say that it is almost impossible to not tap your feet. I believe Michael Jackson was the most inspirational person in the world and that if he could be here today and maybe see what the world is without him I think, he would see how his death impacted the world.

TV 3 (Def Read)

I was watched the Colbert Report the other night and what i saw was David Gergen and his view on the Presidential speech. Even though the speech was on January 27th alot of people still have alot to say. David Gergen says that Obama's speech really connected with the younger generation. He also follows up with that Obama did not connect with the white "blue collar" people. Now what I think he meant by this is that there are maybe racist people who do not really want to hear what he has to say but would like to see what he is going to do. Gergen goes on to say that the reason for Obama not gainging some people's attention is because their lives really haven't change since his election. I believe Obama is trying hard and perhaps beyond that to try to please the people more then his co-workers. David Gergen continues on saying that Barrack Obama has taken some of the hardest deficits and still continues to try to help. I think that a man who continues to try his hardest when it might not do a thing is a man of promise. Gergen ends his conversation with Colbert saying that Obama is like John Kennedy, that he is idolistic, he is insprirational, and that he lifted the people when we thought there was no hope. He also says thay JFK stumbled and made mistakes his first year of presidency and he thinks that is where Obama is now he is young and is just starting this journey. I am a straight believer that in order to get better and to see amazing progress you have got to make mistakes you must see what you must improve in order to show that you can change and make it for the better. JFK may have made his mistakes during the first year but in the second year, I believe he showed that he learned from his mistakes and moved forward during the Cuban Missile Crisis. Obama is young, brilliant, smart, and a new sun for America. But as everyone knows the sunrise comes slowly but it is bright and everyone knows when the sun is up. Obama can help America but we have to be open for him to help and patient. Good things come in time and Obama just needs time.

Journal Article 1

I was reading the New york times and I caught this article about some of the poorest people in coutries trying to find work in some of the ric hest places. A man who is trying to help this effort is Lant Pritchett. Pritchett has alot of ideas for these poor country workers but his main idea is "Let my people come". Now that is not wrong at all he just wants poor people to have jobs and be able to provide for their families and have money for a home, food, and clothing. But the only problem is trying to bring poor people into a rich people envirnoment. The poor people have families and this is not like a a free easy pass for these families to come to America. I think that Pritchett has good intentions but he must really think about what he wants to do more because this not only like degrades the rich people or at least some but it might even degrade some of the poor people trying to fit a stereotype.

TV 2 (DEF READ)

The State of Union speech was really really inspiring and uplifting i believe. I really liked the immigration plans he has for America he really uplifted many opportunities for people around the world. I also liked the education policy he was brought with the deduction and help he hopes to give Barrack Obama really has made in very clear that he is not trying to avoid the health care issue as a matter of fact he almost faced it head on. I can not really say anything bad about this speech he is also trying to help the women. He tries to help so many people and he wants everyone to have equal rights. He also talked about deduction from the government like you do not do that but he did he said that they will cut what is not needed and keep what is needed. Barrack Obama has seriously motivated many people to and given me as a person almost like a new light of hope for America to be at its best once again.

Class Discussion 1

Today we were discussing about how today the voting rating has gone up in the past 3 elections. The only ting is, they have gone up in the presidential election which yes is important but the elections that matter is the state senator's or state representative. I believe that people have the privilage to vote and they should really take advantage of it because people that do not vote come into discussion where maybe they could have made the change and they try to put in their two sense. I honestly hope that the voting in America will increase not only in the presidential elections but like the elections in states for a mayor or state senator.

TV 1

I watched some of the Colbert Report but what really interested me was the section on Andre Bauer. Honestly he really did get blasted on they pulled in a whole new wave on embarassing him. Bauer was trying to say some things on the umemployment problem and his reaction to this is pretty clear he almost compares the poor and umemployed to pesky animals. I personally do not know what Bauer is talking about I also believe that he should stop talking because the unemployment problem is pretty harsh yes, but if he was the duche without a job he would be one of the people trying to get a job like the people he likes to call "vermin" so much. Colbert also brings in how a conversation was brougt up about Bauer and his religion. Andre Bauer is a Christian and thats fine. But comparing people to animals and making yourself seem better then another hman being, I may be a bit to young to perhaps understand the government and politics but that does not seem like a christian man at all.
